Amani​
Introduction (participants and performers)
Amani is London-based Vogue fem dancer and actor; whose work often explores how we can weaponise femininity and the power of play. Amani has performed on stages including; Young Vic Theatre, ICA, English National Opera and Royal Albert Hall. They are currently on a residency at Tate; teaching workshops to school children about the art in the gallery whilst incorporating their practice. Amani is also a community organiser; specifically for the LGBTQ+ Somali community in UK and one of the co-founders of the Somali-led collective BAXSAN.
