Accessibility & Wellbeing at Queer Summer Fayre
The nearest overground station to Hackney Bridge is Hackney Wick overground, which is a 10-15 walk from Hackney Bridge- via a bridge over the canal. Most of the activity at the Queer Summer Fayre is taking place in step-free locations (expect for the Not So Royal Variety Shows).
Queer Summer Fayre is not a fully accesible event. Please read below for more specific information, but please do get in touch if there are access needs you have, and we will do our best to make arrangements if we are able to.
QUEER MAKERS MARKET
The market will take place in the entrance yard of Hackney Bridge, an outdoor space on ground floor level. Step-free access.
The workshops will take place in a large, open room at Hackney Bridge. This room has step-free access through two large doors. If you are participating in one of the workshops and have any particular access requirements please contact email@example.com
Crafternooning will take place in the Yellow Tunnel of Hackney Bridge. This space is under cover and will be a more relaxed and chilled environment. This is a ground floor, step-free location.
NAKED PRESENTS NOT SO ROYAL VARIETY CABARETS
The Naked Presents Not So Royal Variety Show will take place on the Mezzanine level of Hackney Bridge kitchen, which is step access only. The 4:30pm show is family friendly so will be more suitable for all ages. If you have any access needs, get in touch so we can make necessary arrangements.
Hackney Bridge has ground-floor, step-free accessible bathrooms.
Music will be playing across the venue at a moderate volume throughout the day. In the evening we will have DJs playing in the Hackney Bridge Kitchen & Mezzanine. If you are sensitive to loud music we would advise wearing earplugs between 8:30pm-Midnight when we have DJs playing the space.
